She married industrialist, philanthropist and circus owner Bernard Van Leer in 1912 and had two sons in 1913 and 1914 respectively. She and her older son Oscar settled in Jerusalem.<\/p>\n<p class=\"indentpara\">Polly Van Leer established the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ismardavidarchive.org\/indexofnames\/reubeni-foundation\/\">Reubeni Foundation<\/a> and, in 1959, The Van Leer Jerusalem Institute, which today continues her vision of a multi-disciplinary, pluralistic approach to addressing cultural and political issues.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"ideaBlock\"><p>\u201cAwareness of the triple truth\u2014the inseparable connection between all human beings, their inevitable interdependence and the equality of value of their diverse contributions\u2014is a solid foundation and perhaps the only reliable foundation on which a true human brotherhood on earth can be built.<sup class=\"modern-footnotes-footnote modern-footnotes-footnote--expands-on-desktop \" data-mfn=\"1\" data-mfn-post-scope=\"00000000000004f00000000000000000_1395\"><a href=\"javascript:void(0)\"  role=\"button\" aria-pressed=\"false\" aria-describedby=\"mfn-content-00000000000004f00000000000000000_1395-1\">1<\/a><\/sup><span id=\"mfn-content-00000000000004f00000000000000000_1395-1\" role=\"tooltip\" class=\"modern-footnotes-footnote__note\" tabindex=\"0\" data-mfn=\"1\">Quoted by <a href=\"https:\/\/nadavberman.com\/tag\/%D7%A4%D7%95%D7%9C%D7%99-%D7%95%D7%9F-%D7%9C%D7%99%D7%A8\/\">Nadav S. In 1954, he sent her his <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ismardavidarchive.org\/work\/?s=%22liber+librorum%22\">Genesis<\/a> page from <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ismardavidarchive.org\/indexofnames\/liber-librorum\/\">Liber Librorum<\/a>.
