Ismar David vacationed there repeatedly over the course of at least thirty years, often staying with the John Masons. On these trips, he would take time to visit the surrounding area and his friend <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ismardavidarchive.org\/indexofnames\/rollo-silver\/\">Rollo Silver<\/a> in Boston. In the early years, he painted <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ismardavidarchive.org\/work\/rockport\/\">watercolors.<\/a><\/p>\n<p class=\"mt-2\"><div class=\"rl-gallery-container rl-loading\"
