She furthered her studies in Munich, while operating an independent textile design studio. In 1934 she immigrated to Jerusalem, where she studied with Jacob Steinhardt, Isidor Aschheim and Mordechai Ardon. By the mid 1940s, she was participating in group shows alongside <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ismardavidarchive.org\/indexofnames\/charming-drawings\/\">Gabi Rosenthal<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ismardavidarchive.org\/indexofnames\/yossi-stern\/\">Jossi Stern<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ismardavidarchive.org\/indexofnames\/elly-gross\/\">Elly Gross<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ismardavidarchive.org\/indexofnames\/about-ludwig-wolpert\/\">Ludwig Wolpert<\/a>, and Julie Keiner, among others. Her textile design and fresco work, like a mural in the bar of the Eden Hotel, were often praised. Bamberger taught painting and batik at the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ismardavidarchive.org\/indexofnames\/about-bezalel\/\">Bezalel Academy<\/a> and exhibited internationally in the 1950s, 60s and 70s.<\/p>\n<p class=\"indentpara\">In August 1948, the Mishmar Ha\u2019am (People\u2019s Guard) and the Army\u2019s Special Services sponsored a series of events called the \u201cWeek of Embattled Jerusalem.\u201d It was \u201cJerusalem\u2019s biggest week of public entertainment since the beginning of the war<sup class=\"modern-footnotes-footnote modern-footnotes-footnote--expands-on-desktop \" data-mfn=\"1\" data-mfn-post-scope=\"00000000000004f00000000000000000_2784\"><a href=\"javascript:void(0)\"  role=\"button\" aria-pressed=\"false\" aria-describedby=\"mfn-content-00000000000004f00000000000000000_2784-1\">1<\/a><\/sup><span id=\"mfn-content-00000000000004f00000000000000000_2784-1\" role=\"tooltip\" class=\"modern-footnotes-footnote__note\" tabindex=\"0\" data-mfn=\"1\"> <em>Jerusalem Week, The Palestine Post,<\/em> August 20, 1948, p.3.<\/span> and included musical programs, dances, parades, plays and an exhibition entitled \u201cModern Jerusalem Handicraft\u201d at the Bezalel Museum. Bamberg\u2019s textile designs and wrapping papers appeared in it and Ismar David was said to dominate the applied graphic arts portion of the exhibition.<sup class=\"modern-footnotes-footnote modern-footnotes-footnote--expands-on-desktop \" data-mfn=\"2\" data-mfn-post-scope=\"00000000000004f00000000000000000_2784\"><a href=\"javascript:void(0)\"  role=\"button\" aria-pressed=\"false\" aria-describedby=\"mfn-content-00000000000004f00000000000000000_2784-2\">2<\/a><\/sup><span id=\"mfn-content-00000000000004f00000000000000000_2784-2\" role=\"tooltip\" class=\"modern-footnotes-footnote__note\" tabindex=\"0\" data-mfn=\"2\"> <em>Handicrafts on Show, The Palestine Post,<\/em> September 3, 1948, p.3. <\/span> In October 1961, Bamberger visited New York on her way to a solo exhibition in St. Louis, Missouri.
